What you bring:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience along with a book of business
  • Proven experience in 3PL freight brokerage sales, with a desire to grow professionally
  • Ability to maintain, bring on, close and deliver new business
  • Out-going, "Hunter" personality
  • Maintains a quota of target accounts and work closely with the Director of Sales in order to satisfy customer needs
  • Organized, detail-oriented – excellent follow-up skills are essential
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office, internet and job specific CRM (Pipe Drive)
  • Energetic. Hard Working. Entrepreneurial. Accountable and Pro-Active.
  • Candidate with experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics/Dispatch/Operations and a desire to sell could be considered.

Expectation:
Utilizing your skills to be able to identify, pursue and close new business through various sales strategies. Additionally, you will be called upon to work collaboratively with a team of professionals to provide logistics and technology solutions for your clients. Nurturing positive relationships internally and externally is paramount to the success of the Account Sales Executive.
  • Identify, target and win new business while continuing to maintain their existing business
  • Maintain a systematic strategy for long term and repeat business
  • Responding to client inquiries by preparing responses to requests for proposals (RFP-s) and requests for quotations (RFQ-s).
  • Ability to handle the fast-paced and competitive market place
