Director and Group Lead, Commercial Distribution Job Description

The Director and Group Lead, Commercial Distribution is a key leadership role that contributes to the overall success of the Commercial Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a mid-market team and meeting financial objectives related to profitable growth and retention of the team's assigned portfolio of Commercial clients. This includes understanding client and business trends, local markets, and leading a strategy that deepens relationships by leveraging internal partners to provide holistic solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a mid-market team to achieve financial objectives
  • Understand client and business trends, local markets, and lead a strategy to deepen relationships
  • Leverage internal partners to provide holistic solutions for clients

Requirements:

  • Expert sales management, relationship building, and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence and motivate others
  • Expert knowledge of Canada's financial services marketplace and assigned market area's key industries, major customers, and competitive positioning
  • Tactical planning skills and implementation/management skills
