Job Title: Commercial Banking Leader

Scotiabank is seeking a seasoned Commercial Banking Leader to join our team in London, Ontario. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Client Relationship Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Associate Group Leads to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sales and relationship managers to achieve business objectives and drive client growth.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to deepen relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal partners to provide holistic solutions for clients and drive business growth.
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial clients and develop relationships to drive revenue growth.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in commercial banking, with a strong understanding of the Canadian financial services marketplace.
  • Expert sales management, relationship building, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Strong tactical planning skills and implementation/management skills, with the ability to handle complex and dynamic situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel and non-standard working hours.
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in Business or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
