Job Summary

As a Commercial Banking Client Support Specialist at Scotiabank, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our Commercial Banking Distribution team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional client service and support to our clients, ensuring that their needs are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide timely and accurate support to (Sr.) Client Relationship Managers in Commercial Banking Distribution
- Coordinate efforts with internal partners to ensure loan funding and business account openings are fulfilled as per customer expectations
- Conduct thorough client onboarding, including the collection of information and documentation to assess the client's risk profile
- Resolve client service-related matters and provide general support as necessary
- Collaborate with Credit Analysts to ensure credit-related tasks are completed efficiently and effectively

Requirements

- College/University degree or equivalent work experience
- Strong commitment to excellent client service and ability to work with clients to resolve issues in an amicable and prompt manner
- Strong organizational skills to co-ordinate and prioritize a number of concurrent requests from different Relationship Managers
- Strong interpersonal skills to obtain agreements within Commercial Banking and partners
- Strong written and verbal skills with proven ability to engage stakeholders and clients

Working Conditions

- Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. No travel
