Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director & Group Lead, Commercial Banking to join our team in London, Ontario. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales professionals and driving business growth through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Senior Client Relationship Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Associate Group Leads to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Develop and execute tactical plans to drive business growth, including market analysis, competitor research, and customer relationship management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling, and develop strategies to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their sales and leadership skills.
  • Manage and oversee the activities of Client Service Specialists and Credit Analysts to ensure seamless delivery of customer service and credit analysis.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of success in sales leadership and commercial banking, with a strong understanding of the Canadian financial services market.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Post-secondary diploma or degree in Business or Economics, or equivalent work experience.
