As our Director of Commercial Strategy, you will lead our Commercial Strategy team to represent the organization in a professional manner and ensure consistent high-quality customer service is delivered to all guests and prospective clients.

You will be accountable for all sales, marketing, and catering sales reports, systems management, and analysis; development and execution of property brand strategies; and promotion of the property as an independent Hotel & Conference Facility.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing the team's sales targets and mentoring the team to achieve their targets and overall goals, in partnership with the Director of Sales.
  • Collaborating with both corporate and local property departments to best leverage the tools available to maximize exposure and brand recognition of this independent facility.
  • Leading digital strategy development and execution, with a focus on driving sales and revenue growth.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales leadership and strategy at an executive level; Full-service hotel setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of and experience leading digital strategy development and execution.
  • A degree, diploma, or certification in Sales and/or Marketing or a related field, is an asset.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule on occasion with varied hours of work in alignment with client and event needs.
  • Excellent computer skills - MS Office, CRM software, and the ability to learn and implement new and customized software programs quickly and efficiently.
