Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Banking Director & Group Lead to join our team in London, Ontario. As a key member of our Commercial Banking team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Senior Client Relationship Managers, Client Relationship Managers, and Associate Group Leads to achieve business objectives and drive growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve financial objectives and grow the Commercial Banking business
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to deepen relationships with clients and drive business growth
  • Collaborate with internal partners to provide holistic solutions for clients
  • Manage a portfolio of Commercial clients and develop relationships to drive business growth
  • Oversee activities that involve varying degrees of complexity, including sales management, relationship building, and leadership
Requirements
  • Expert sales management, relationship building, and leadership skills
  • Ability to influence and motivate others
  • Strong knowledge of Canada's financial services marketplace and the assigned market area's key industries, major customers, and competitive positioning
  • Tactical planning skills and implementation/management skills
  • Experience in a role that exercises a high degree of independent judgment and discretion
