Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Executive Suites Hotel & Resort, Squamish. As a key member of our hotel team, you will be responsible for leading Guest Service and all aspects of the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and supervise all front office personnel to ensure proper completion of all front office duties
  • Direct and coordinate the activities of the front desk, reservations, and guest services
  • Assist in accounts payable/receivable and provide support to the Sales Team and the GM as needed
  • Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed and provide support to the front desk agents where needed
  • Participate in meetings and/or events as required by the company
  • Ensure 100% guest satisfaction
  • Complete front desk work schedule as required, ensuring all shifts are covered
  • Support company policy and management decisions, interpreting and passing such information to staff members
  • Monitor interactions and provide feedback to employees, recognizing superior performance and addressing inadequate service levels
  • Responsible for motivating personnel to perform to the best of their abilities and setting an example by their own performance and enthusiasm
  • Ensure all guest complaints or problems are documented and the appropriate departments are immediately notified for resolving the situation
  • Assist in emergency situations
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily, analyzing rate variance, monitoring credit reports, and maintaining close observation of daily house count
