About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Overnight Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Four Seasons Resort Whistler. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for managing the activities at the Front Desk during the overnight shift, ensuring seamless communication with the day shift, and providing exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring correct room assignments and rates, and arranging luggage delivery.
  • Collect feedback, settle bills accurately, and process payments through credit card or cash transactions.
  • Ensure compliance with financial and credit procedures, reviewing paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements, and Direct Billings.
  • Review late arrivals, early departures, and next day's activities, coordinating arrivals, departures, and billing requirements with accuracy.
  • Block rooms for arrivals and resolve any discrepancies promptly, handling guest relocations according to established guidelines.
  • Resolve customer complaints with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, assisting guests with inquiries and special requests both in-person and over the phone.
  • Conduct frequent tours of the hotel to oversee operations across all departments.

Requirements:

  • Previous significant experience in a Front Office position or related position.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Opera PMS experience preferred.
  • Fluent English (written, spoken, reading).
  • Strong crisis management skills.
  • Strong supervisory skills.
  • Strong commitment to service.
  • Category 5 Driving License (unrestricted Category 4 is an advantage).
  • Ability to work overnights.
  • Ability to work in Canada.

Schedule & Hours:

As our hotel is open 24/7, 365 days a year, we expect our Overnight Front Desk Supervisor to be flexible in working overnight, weekends, and holidays.
