About the Role:
As our Overnight Front Desk Supervisor, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Front Desk during the overnight shift. You'll be responsible for managing staff, communicating with the day shift, and maintaining a high level of service quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently check guests in and out, ensuring accurate room assignments and rates
- Collect feedback, settle bills accurately, and process payments through credit card or cash transactions
- Ensure compliance with financial and credit procedures
- Review paid-outs, rebates, petty cash disbursements, and direct billings
- Coordinate arrivals, departures, and billing requirements
- Block rooms for arrivals and resolve any discrepancies
- Handle guest relocations according to established guidelines
- Resolve customer complaints with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism
- Assist guests with inquiries and special requests
Requirements:
- Previous significant experience in a Front Office position or related field
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Opera PMS experience preferred
- Fluent English (written, spoken, reading)
- Strong crisis management skills
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong commitment to service
- Category 5 Driving License (unrestricted Category 4 is an advantage)
- Ability to work overnights
- Ability to work in Canada
