Business Development Manager

Iris Software Inc. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Toronto, Canada.
This role involves cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, understanding their business objectives and challenges.
Main Responsibilities:- Cultivate and Maintain Client Relationships: Foster long-lasting relationships with key clients, understanding their business goals and challenges.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of client-facing professionals, ensuring alignment with client goals and company strategy.
- Strategic Development: Collaborate with clients to create customized insurance solutions that address their unique needs and drive business outcomes.
- Business Growth: Identify opportunities for account expansion and new business development within existing client portfolios.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with underwriting, claims, and product development teams to deliver seamless service and ensure client expectations are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Years of experience in account management or client relationship roles within the BFSI sector.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
The estimated salary for this role is between $80,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
