Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned professional to support key business development initiatives, enhance revenue generation opportunities, and drive growth for our Toronto office. As a strategic business development adviser, you will work closely with our Director, Business Development, to develop and execute plans that align with firm-wide priorities.
Main Responsibilities- Develop, execute and maintain strategic business development and marketing plans to support identified firm priorities;
- Conceive, champion, communicate and carry out innovative business development initiatives to enhance revenue generation opportunities;
- Work with our National Markets team to coordinate efforts and collaborate on executing national, regional and local initiatives;
- Provide direction in organizing client events, sponsorships, practice and industry group conference calls, and other BD activities;
- Develop processes to generate leads from various sources (web, events, marketing campaigns, media and PR, sponsorships etc...);
- Identify and lead joint sponsorship opportunities to build our firm's profile within the business community;
- Support BD Managers and other resources in supporting firm-wide BD priorities;
- Assist legal professionals with client account management activities to strengthen client relationships;
- Provide business intelligence and competitive intelligence to assist with business planning;
- Establish KPIs and provide business development dashboards to track progress.
- Minimum seven (7) years of work experience within a professional services environment;
- Marketing and BD planning experience in a professional services environment;
- Management experience;
- Superior time management and organizational skills with problem-solving abilities;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English;
- Familiarity with CRM databases an asset;
- Comfortable with social media platforms.
- A competitive salary estimated at $120,000 - $150,000 per annum based on your experience and qualifications;
