Job Role: Cisco Voice Engineer (Hybrid)

Location: Remote

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Description:

This Cisco voice engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco Unified Communications and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement voice solutions using Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Unity Connection, and Unified Contact Center Express.
  • Provide level 3 support for voice systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their voice requirements and develop solutions that meet their needs.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Cisco voice technologies and best practices.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of voice system configurations and changes.
  • Work with the Cisco vendor to resolve any issues that may arise.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Session Border Controller and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor and Vitec IPTV solution.
  • Experience with integration of PSTN telephone with Microsoft Teams.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a level 3 engineer in Cisco Unified Communications.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, including Voice Gateways.
  • Strong understanding of Cisco Call Manager, especially version 12 and above.
  • Good working knowledge of Unity and UCCx.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Client and ECB.
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Video servers (VCS and Expressway) and Cisco Video endpoints.
