Cisco Voice Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Voice Engineer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a Cisco Voice Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice systems for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide level 3 support for Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express
  • Participate in the upgrade of these systems to version 14.1, including planning, upgrading, and testing
  • Contribute to the planning for upgrading to version 15 for these systems
  • Troubleshoot level 3 issues with these systems
  • Collaborate with Cisco vendors to resolve issues
  • Document and update documentation for these systems
  • Configure and maintain Cisco video servers (VCS and Expressway)
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with Oracle Session Border Controller and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker
  • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor and integration of PSTN telephone with TEAMS
  • Experience with Vitec (formerly Exterity) IPTV solution
Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of experience as a level 3 engineer in Cisco voice products
  • In-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, including Voice Gateways
  • Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, especially version 12 and above
  • Working knowledge of Unity and UCCx
  • Experience with Cisco Video servers and endpoints
