Job Role: Cisco Voice Engineer (Hybrid)

Location: Remote

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Job Description:

This Cisco voice engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining voice solutions for clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco Unified Communications, including Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement voice solutions for clients, including Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express
  • Provide level 3 support for voice systems, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues
  • Participate in the planning and execution of upgrades to voice systems, including Call Manager and Unity Voicemail
  • Collaborate with vendors, such as Cisco, to resolve issues and implement new solutions
  • Document and maintain documentation for voice systems
  • Configure and maintain Cisco video servers, including VCS and Expressway

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle Session Border Controller and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker
  • Knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor and Vitec IPTV solution
  • Experience with integration of PSTN telephone with TEAMS

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a level 3 engineer in Cisco Unified Communications
  • Indepth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, including Voice Gateways
  • Indepth knowledge of Cisco Call Manager, especially version 12 and above
  • Good working knowledge of Unity and UCCx
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Client and ECB
  • Working knowledge of Cisco Video servers and Cisco Video endpoints
