About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cisco Voice Engineer to join our team at Axelon Services Corporation. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex voice communication systems using Cisco technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • System Administration: Provide level 3 BAU support for Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express systems.
  • Upgrade Planning and Execution: Participate in the upgrade of the above-mentioned systems to version 14.1, including planning, upgrading, and testing.
  • System Troubleshooting: Perform level 3 troubleshooting of Call Manager, Unity Voicemail, and Unified Call Center Express systems.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with Cisco vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document and update technical documentation for the above systems.
  • Video Server Management: Configure and maintain Cisco video servers (VCS and Expressway).
Requirements
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Cisco Voice infrastructure, including Voice Gateways.
  • Product Knowledge: Strong understanding of Cisco Call Manager, especially version 12 and above.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Teamwork: Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a level 3 engineer in Cisco Voice products.
Preferred Skills
  • Oracle Session Border Controller and Oracle Enterprise Communication Broker: Working knowledge of Oracle Client and ECB.
  • Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor: Familiarity with Oracle Enterprise Operations Monitor.
  • Integration with PSTN and Teams: Good working knowledge of integrating PSTN telephone with Microsoft Teams.
  • Vitec IPTV Solution: Familiarity with Vitec (formerly Exterity) IPTV solution.
