We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our Clinical Virtual Care Team as a Mental Health Therapist.
The successful candidate will provide assessment, diagnosis, psychotherapy, supervision, and consultation via virtual technologies to adults. They will work collaboratively with family physicians and other service providers and community agencies in providing care.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver evidence-based individual and group interventions for mental health and addictions
- Provide training and experience delivering cognitive and behavioural therapies for various disorders
- Conduct semi-structured psycho-diagnostic assessments and case conceptualization
- Offer clinical supervision to students from psychology and other mental health disciplines
- PhD/PsyD in Clinical Psychology from a CPA-accredited university program or equivalent
- Registered, or eligible to be registered/licensed with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in providing evidence-based interventions for mental health and addictions
We offer a competitive salary range of $56.46-$62.74 hourly, dependent on experience. Additionally, successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
Successful candidates may also be eligible for a signing bonus and relocation assistance with a defined Return of Service contract.
