Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Building Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Atlantic area. This role involves contributing to the design of electrical plans and models, performing surveys, and assisting the engineering team in project realization.

Main Responsibilities
  • Participate in electrical design projects, including distribution systems, lighting calculations, and fire alarm systems.
  • Conduct field surveys and create detailed layouts.
  • Develop and refine plans and models using AutoCAD and REVIT software.
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.
  • Visit construction sites and participate in project supervision as needed.
  • Perform equipment searches and calculations under the guidance of a project engineer.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Professional Engineer certification from a recognized licensing body.
  • Familiarity with building electrical codes and regulations.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a related field.
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD software.
  • Excellent written and spoken French language skills.
  • Knowledge of AGI 32 lighting calculation software is an asset.
  • ASP Construction card is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license.
