Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned professional with 2-4 years of experience in public accounting or tax to join our dynamic Tax team. In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Completing tax engagements by computing taxes owed, preparing personal and corporate tax returns, and calculating year-end tax forms.
  • Evaluating business processes and advising on policy and tax changes to develop proactive tax strategies.
  • Corresponding with clients and government agencies to address tax compliance issues.

You will also have the opportunity to lead engagement teams, develop effective relationships with clients, and coach junior team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred).
  • Completion of CFE examination and working towards relevant practical experience requirements.
  • Working knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act and experience working with accounting and tax software.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary, with an estimated annual salary of $85,000 - $105,000, depending on experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
