As a trusted advisor, you'll investigate threats, develop policies, and enhance infrastructure to minimize the impact of security-related events and protect clients' business operations and reputation.

This opportunity is an in-office position to be based from Mississauga, ON, Edmonton, AB, or Dartmouth, NS.

Responsibilities:
  1. Work with both clients and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  2. Investigate assigned tickets; responsible for the task until it has been completed/resolved.
  3. Monitor and resolve incidents and support requests; ensure response/resolution within service level agreement (SLA) targets.
  4. Update ticket information and associated documentation.
  5. Maintain monitoring software to ensure proper functionality of all managed devices.
  6. Maintain reporting software to provide valuable information to clients.
  7. Notify clients of any potential problems in their environment.
  8. Contribute to the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
  9. Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around performance improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Possess a Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  2. Experience with Microsoft operating systems, applications, and tools.
  3. Strong troubleshooting skills.
  4. Experience with the following technologies would be beneficial: Check Point, Palo Alto, AlienVault, Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, SentinelOne.
Compensation Package:
