Job Description

Volkswagen Group Canada is seeking a Total Rewards and Organizational Design Manager to lead the company's benefits administration and organizational design initiatives.

This is a temporary flex hybrid model requiring 2 days in the St. Thomas, Ontario office.

Salary

The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 and $180,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Job

As a Total Rewards and Organizational Design Manager, you will be responsible for leading the annual design process to ensure plans are competitive and cost-efficient.

You will provide direction to benefit plan providers concerning approved plan design and administration, manage vendor relationships and negotiate administrative fee arrangements, and manage benefit plan budget for welfare plans, retirement, service recognition program, corporate credit cards program, relocation, vehicle program, charitable giving, etc.

You will also develop and document processes related to benefits administration, compliance and data integrity, monitor provider performance and operational results for benefit planning purposes, and ensure SAP supports benefit plan administration data and interface requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the annual design process to ensure plans are competitive and cost-efficient.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Sociology or related area and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years experience in benefit plan design & administration.
  • 3+ years experience managing a team.
  • Working knowledge of Canadian benefit and pension legislation.
  • Ability to plan, schedule, and deliver both long and short-term projects with consideration to stakeholders and adherence to strict deadlines.
  • Highly skilled with Excel and MS Office programs.
  • Experience with HR SAP, SuccessFactors is considered an asset.
  • Ability to manage and scale projects.
  • Strong written, verbal and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • German language knowledge is considered an asset.
