Total Rewards Strategy

We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking HR leader to develop and implement a competitive and relevant Total Rewards strategy aligned with the organization's strategic objectives and Employee Value Proposition (EVP). This includes compensation and benefits philosophy, recognition programs, and AI-enabled tools to enhance the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a Total Rewards strategy that attracts, retains, engages, and motivates talent across the organization.
  • Manage the daily operations of Compensation and Benefits programs, ensuring alignment with organizational design and compliance with legislative changes.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to senior management, providing strategic guidance on Total Rewards programs and policies.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and leaders to align compensation impacts with organizational design.
Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate for this position is a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of HRMS systems, particularly within Compensation and Benefits modules. You will possess a strong foundation in project management and change management, backed by hands-on experience in leading HR transformations. Adept at modern HR practices, you bring a strategic mindset, critical thinking skills, and a results-oriented approach to drive organizational change.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, preferably with a specialization in Compensation and Benefits, or a related field.
  • CHRL designation (or in progress), or Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designations.
  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role focused on Total Rewards strategy, program design, and senior-level reporting.
About the Role

This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the organization's Total Rewards strategy and contribute to the growth and success of the WSIB.
