About the Role

Reporting to the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards and HR Business Services, the Director, Total Rewards is responsible for designing and implementing the organization's Total Rewards strategy. This includes managing daily operations of Compensation and Benefits programs, ensuring alignment with organizational design and compliance with legislative changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Total Rewards Administration: Manage financial planning and reporting related to Total Rewards and support budget management.
  • Serve as an expert advisor to senior management, providing strategic guidance on Total Rewards programs and policies.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Engage with strategic vendors to support benchmarking, best practices, and innovative program development.
Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of HRMS systems, particularly within Compensation and Benefits modules (experience with Oracle Fusion is highly preferred). You will have a strong foundation in project management and change management, backed by hands-on experience in leading HR transformations.

You should have exceptional communication skills, able to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders, navigate complex challenges, and lead initiatives that align with the WSIB's mission and values.

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, preferably with a specialization in Compensation and Benefits, or a related field.
  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3-5 years in a management or leadership role focused on Total Rewards strategy, program design, and senior-level reporting.
Salary Information

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to attract and retain top talent in the industry.
