Our Commercial Lines team is excited to be adding a Strategic Commercial Account Manager to one of our offices. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Lines, this role supports and develops the overall performance of their team, while maximizing efficiency and fostering an effortless client experience.

What You'll Do

  • Client & Company Support: Answer inquiries from clients and insurance companies, delivering prompt and professional support.
  • Policy Management: Handle endorsements, renewals, and policy updates with an eye for accuracy.
  • Relationship-Building: Connect with clients to discuss renewals, provide quotes, and explore new business opportunities.
  • Upsell & Cross-sell: Spot chances to recommend products that fit clients' needs.
  • Claims & Billing Assistance: Help clients through claims and billing questions to make their experience as smooth as possible.
  • Business Development: Prepare submissions and proposals for new and renewal business.
  • Industry Engagement: Stay updated on rates, forms, and coverage changes and represent Ives Insurance at industry events.
  • Teamwork & Support: Step in to assist coworkers during absences, vacation, and other times when coverage is needed.

What You'll Bring

  • Licenses & Certifications: RIBO license required; CAIB or equivalent designation preferred, or a willingness to pursue it (we'll support you every step of the way).
  • Skills: Top-notch communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Efficiency: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable using MS Word, Outlook, and BMS.
  • Professionalism: Positive demeanor and appearance, with a commitment to confidentiality and high standards of ethics.

Estimated Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
