Nursing Director for End-of-Life Care in Long Term Care Facility

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nursing Director for End-of-Life Care in a long term care facility. This is a part-time position, requiring 12-hour shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
Responsibilities- To provide high-quality end-of-life care to residents at Stedman Community Hospice
- Assume a lead role in the development, implementation, and communication of resident care plans
- Contribute to the interdisciplinary team, reporting substantial findings and changes in resident condition
- Advocate for patient-centered care, promoting a home-like environment
- Perform all duties in accordance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program
- Current CPR and First Aid certification required
- Ideal candidates will have experience in hospice and palliative care, knowledge of pain and symptom management, and end-of-life care
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive compensation package, we provide access to ongoing training and skills development, as well as opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
