Salary
The successful candidate can expect to earn $36.81 per visit, plus km allowance for travel between clients, resulting in an estimated salary of $74,900 - $94,400 per year based on 70 hours bi-weekly.
Job Description
As a Nurse Care Specialist, you will provide high-quality nursing care to our clients in the Brantford and surrounding county areas.
This role requires travel throughout Brantford and Brant County for client visits, utilizing a wide range of clinical skills including palliative, pediatric, wound care, intravenous therapy, and health teaching towards chronic disease prevention.
You will be responsible for providing holistic care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship, and preceptorship programs.
As the primary care planner to your clients, you will have the autonomy to delegate tasks and functions to various levels of staff and client family members while maintaining our industry's highest level of practice.
Your focus will be on care time with efficient work schedules, allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must be a RN level nurse who has graduated from an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current registration with the provincial licensing body.
Additional requirements include:
- Current CPR certification
- Clear criminal background check (with vulnerable sector screening), negative TB test
- Valid driver's license, auto insurance and reliable vehicle
