Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Unit team at the Brant Community Healthcare System. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated nurse to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to critically ill patients.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Providing direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing interventions
  • Working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participating in research projects and continuing education initiatives to enhance clinical skills and knowledge
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation of patient care
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, applicants must:

  • Hold a current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Have a minimum of one year of critical care experience
  • Be certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Possess a Critical Care Certificate Program or be enrolled in the program
