About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Critical Care Nurse Specialist to join our team at the Brant Community Healthcare System. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and commitment.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will provide evidence-based, comprehensive, safe, effective, and ethical nursing care to patients in need of critical care services. They will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, using their critical thinking skills and creative problem-solving abilities to address complex patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to critically ill patients
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and goals
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, including diagnoses, treatments, and outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a diploma or degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of one year of current experience on a critical care unit. You must also hold a Critical Care Certificate Program, either completed or currently enrolled. Additionally, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be $95,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. The Brant Community Healthcare System offers a range of benefits, including tuition reimbursement, a HOOPP pension plan, and discounted parking.
