About the Role

We are seeking a Marketing and Community Engagement Specialist to join our dynamic marketing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with community organizations, managing sponsorships and donations, and planning and coordinating external events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison with community organizations to ensure strong relationships and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Manage sponsorships and donations, including vetting opportunities, coordinating deliverables, and tracking outcomes.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute external events such as webinars, seminars, client lunches, and other community-focused activities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure logistics are handled, including venue selection, registration, catering, and AV requirements.

About You

  • You have 1-3 years of experience in marketing, event coordination, community engagement, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable engaging with community partners and firm leadership.
  • A degree in Marketing or a related program is an asset.

The Details

  • The position will be based out of Guelph, Ontario, with minimum 4 days/week in the office.
  • Compensation is based on a 37.5 workweek, with occasional evening and weekend work expected.
  • Interoffice travel and to vendors & events during peak seasons may be required.

Salary Estimate: The estimated salary for this role is between $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience.
