Commodities Risk Manager Job Opportunity

Nutreco, a global leader in animal nutrition and fish feed, is seeking a seasoned Risk Management Specialist – Commodities Market to join our team in Puslinch, ON.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing risk management strategies to mitigate price risks associated with commodities. This role requires expertise in hedging instruments like futures, options, and swaps, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

About the Role:

  • Develop and execute risk management strategies to minimize commodity price risks
  • Analyze market trends and commodity price movements to inform strategic decisions
  • Maintain strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders
  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; CFA or FRM preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in commodities risk management
  • Hands-on experience with derivatives, futures, options, and swaps
  • Familiarity with risk management software and trading platforms is an asset
