About the Role

At J & F SEAFOOD CORP., we are seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our management team, ensuring the smooth operation of our office, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the management team, including preparing reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Manage the office budget, including tracking expenses and making recommendations for cost savings.
  • Coordinate office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including delegating work to office support staff and establishing work priorities.
  • Resolve conflict situations and maintain a positive working relationship with colleagues.
  • Organize tasks to accomplish the work and develop specific plans to prioritize.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of MS Office and ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Availability to work 30 to 35 hours per week.
