Job Summary

Lotsa Tots Child Care Services Ltd. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to our management team, including preparing reports, maintaining records, and coordinating meetings.
    • Assist with staff consultation and grievance procedures, ensuring a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Coordinate the flow of information within the team, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
    • Direct and control daily operations, including planning and organizing tasks, and evaluating work environments to prevent disease or injury.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including reconciling accounts and preparing financial reports.
    • Order office supplies and maintain inventory, ensuring that our office is well-stocked and organized.
    • Oversee payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely payment to our employees.
  • Team Support
    • Direct staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources they need to succeed.
    • Evaluate daily operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to increase efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Organized and accurate, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Dependable and able to work with minimal supervision.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Tight deadlines and repetitive tasks.
  • Large workload and ability to work independently.
