Kitchen Team Lead

Boston Pizza Henderson is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
- Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Order and manage inventory of food and kitchen supplies to ensure we have the necessary resources to deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise and Coordinate Activities of Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train Staff in Job Duties, Sanitation, and Safety Procedures: Provide ongoing training and coaching to ensure our kitchen staff have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Estimate Ingredient and Supplies Required for Meal Preparation: Plan and manage inventory to ensure we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
- Ensure Food and Service Meet Quality Control Standards: Maintain high standards of quality and service by monitoring and improving our kitchen procedures and staff performance.
- Prepare Budget and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Address Customers' Complaints or Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales, and Wastage: Accurately record and manage inventory, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively.
- Prepare and Submit Reports: Provide regular reports to management on kitchen performance and operations.
- Prepare Food Order Summaries for Chef: Prepare and submit summaries of food orders to the chef to ensure we are meeting customer demand.
- Must Have Knowledge of the Establishment's Culinary Genres: Familiarize yourself with our menu and culinary styles to ensure we are delivering exceptional service and quality.
- Supervise and Check Assembly of Trays: Oversee the assembly of trays to ensure they are presented in a clean and appealing manner.
- Supervise and Check Delivery of Food Trolleys: Monitor the delivery of food trolleys to ensure they are presented in a timely and efficient manner.Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
