About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza Henderson. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet food preparation and service standards.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, inventory, and staff productivity.
- Collaborate with the chef and kitchen staff to develop menus, recipes, and food presentation standards.
- Address customer complaints and concerns, providing excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and service.
