Kitchen Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Professional to join our team at OSCARS DELI. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training and supervising kitchen staff and helpers.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Service: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
- Staff Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food service.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate tracking and ordering.
- Work Environment and Safety: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
- Work Setting: Restaurant environment with a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Client focus, flexibility, organized, and team player.
- Work Term: Permanent position.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
