Boston Pizza Henderson is seeking a skilled Kitchen Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and leading a team of cooks and kitchen staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet work schedules and maintain high standards of quality and service.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, dishwashers, and other support staff.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and supplies to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to health and safety standards, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen performance, including food costs, inventory, and other key metrics.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and service.
