We are seeking a skilled Sous Chef to join our team at Frankie's Italian Kitchen & Bar Winnipeg Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for maintaining high-quality food standards, managing kitchen operations, and leading a team of cooks.
Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, and inventory.
- Prepare and cook food to meet quality standards, ensuring timely delivery to our guests.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring efficient inventory management.
- Develop and implement menu plans, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and handling regulations.
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role.
- Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Fluency in English.
