Multilingual Technical Support Specialist with Expertise in Restaurant Point of Sale Solutions

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at PCI Panasonic Canada Inc. This full-time contract opportunity will provide you with the chance to work in a dynamic environment, supporting customers with their technical needs.
About the JobIn this role, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical support to customers through various communication channels. Your expertise in restaurant point of sale solutions, including hardware and software applications, will be essential in resolving customer issues efficiently.
The successful candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, complex analytical thinking, and the ability to communicate technical information effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and patience are also required to excel in this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain, monitor, support, and troubleshoot B2B Customer core Restaurant Point of Sale (POS) hardware along with software applications
- Evaluate and escalate customer issues to advanced product support or other relevant teams as needed
- Provide clear, concise documentation of all processes and training materials as required
- Collaborate with sales staff to process supply orders and quotes when necessary
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 to 4 years of technical experience, preferably in a helpdesk environment
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience with Salesforce CRM is an asset
- A working knowledge of TCP/IP networking protocols, router configuration, Ethernet hubs, internet modems, and antivirus systems in a networked environment
