Multilingual Technical Operations Specialist

About the Role:
">We are seeking a highly skilled Multilingual Technical Operations Specialist to join our team at PCI Panasonic Canada Inc.
As a key member of our support team, you will be responsible for providing timely and effective technical assistance to customers via phone and email. Your primary goal will be to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally, while also escalating complex problems to senior technical resources when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers via phone and email, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to B2B Customer core Restaurant Point of Sale (POS) hardware and software applications.
- Maintain detailed knowledge of products and services, including but not limited to restaurant menus, POS hardware, pin pads, scanners, kitchen video systems, security systems, drive-through headsets and timers technology, time clock systems, and surveillance systems.
- Escalate customer issues to advanced product support, field service, management, or other relevant teams as required.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including sales and management teams, to provide solutions and escalate issues as needed.
- Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to support customer-facing staff.
- Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, working closely with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement resolutions.
- Process RMAs and supply orders in accordance with company procedures and warranty/contract requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, applying this knowledge to improve technical operations and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field, such as electrical, electronic, or computer engineering.
- Minimum 3-4 years of technical and troubleshooting experience, with a proven track record of providing excellent customer service.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to translate technical jargon into plain language.
- Bilingualism in French and English is a must.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and TCP/IP networking protocols is an asset.
- A+ certification in Microsoft Networking or equivalent is desirable.
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
