Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Panasonic Canada Inc.

About the Role:

This is a full-time contract opportunity in our 24/7 helpdesk environment. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical support through telephone and email for timely resolution of customer issues.

You will work closely with management, technical resources, and sales staff to resolve non-routine elements or complex issues. Your expertise will include troubleshooting B2B Customer core Restaurant Point of Sale hardware and software applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support through telephone and email for timely resolution of customer issues
  • Work closely with management, technical resources, and sales staff to resolve non-routine elements or complex issues
  • Troubleshoot B2B Customer core Restaurant Point of Sale hardware and software applications
  • Escalate customer issues to next level of support as needed
  • Train and assist new agents with call center routine

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school graduation with 3-4 years of technical and troubleshooting experience or a Community College diploma in Electrical, Electronic, or Computer Engineering
  • Sufficient proven customer relations experience
  • Strong skills in customer relations, empathy, patience, and ability to translate technical jargon into plain understandable language
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook email, and internet
  • Microsoft Networking certification (A+) or equivalent post-secondary technical degree
  • Bilingual in French and English
