Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating installation activities, selecting and sizing equipment, developing process and instrumentation diagrams, and preparing construction specifications. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication skills, with a strong passion for technology, industry, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate installation activities with contractors and vendors
  • Select and size equipment, and develop process and instrumentation diagrams
  • Prepare construction specifications, user requirements, and functional specifications
  • Develop commissioning and validation protocols
  • Attend factory acceptance testing and on-site commissioning and validation activities
  • Travel to client sites for site review and troubleshooting
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Applied Science degree in engineering from a recognized Canadian university
  • Ability to register with the Professional Engineer's of Ontario as an Engineer in Training
  • Minimum 2-3 years of industrial work experience in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering
  • Experience with engineering calculations, equipment sizing, specifications, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Experience with commissioning of systems, startup, and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use Microsoft Project to create schedules and track project resources
  • Valid driver's license and owner of a car
