Civil Engineering Technologist

Parsiena Design Inc is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our team as a Project Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing various civil engineering projects from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Engineering Specifications and Drawings: Assist in developing and reviewing engineering specifications and drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Field Surveys and Inspections: Participate in field surveys, inspections, and technical investigations to gather data and information for project development.
- Construction Specifications and Estimates: Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Engineering Designs and Drawings: Prepare engineering designs and drawings for projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Project Scheduling: Assist in preparing project schedules, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
- Consultation Services: Provide consultation services to government and other organizations on civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in civil engineering project coordination and management.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and industry standards. Proficient in CAE, AutoCAD, MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and MS Word. Valid driver's license.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills, with ability to motivate and guide team members.
