Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for coordinating installation activities, selecting and sizing equipment, developing process flow diagrams, and preparing construction specifications. You will also be involved in commissioning and validation protocol preparation, factory acceptance testing, and on-site commissioning and validation activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate installation activities with contractors and vendors
  • Select and size equipment, develop process flow diagrams, and prepare construction specifications
  • Prepare commissioning and validation protocol
  • Attend factory acceptance testing and on-site commissioning and validation activities
  • Travel to client sites for site review and troubleshooting
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Applied Science degree in engineering from a recognized Canadian university
  • Ability to register with the Professional Engineer's of Ontario as an Engineer in Training
  • Minimum 2-3 years of industrial work experience in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering
  • Experience with engineering calculations, equipment sizing, specifications, process flow diagrams, and piping and instrumentation diagrams
  • Experience with commissioning of systems, startup, and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft operating system and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to use Microsoft Project to create schedules and track project resources
  • Valid driver's license and owner of a car
