Business Development Manager for Distribution Channels

Job Title: Business Development Manager for Distribution ChannelsThe primary responsibility of this role is to manage the distribution channel of the Amphenol Canada Military/Aerospace (ACC Mil/Aero) Marketing organization. This involves regular and proactive communication with the distribution network, customers, engineering, sales, and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the budget and forecast overall distribution orders for Mil/Aero products.
- Establish and manage the budget for Distribution marketing collateral and promotional activities.
- Identify internal and external training requirements, including product training.
- Manage product sampling into the Distribution Channel in conjunction with Business Development Managers.
- Oversee the Distribution Registration Program.
- Assist and direct customers, field sales, and customer service with technical support.
- Analyze POS data, distributor inventory, and other key metrics to identify trends and opportunities for business growth.
- Provide analysis of marketing data, including trends, order projections, revenues, backlog, margin, and market segmentation at product, customer, and channel levels.
- Document and optimize analysis and reporting processes.
- 5+ years in a functional management position (Sales or Marketing).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong technical aptitude, including ability to read drawings.
- Financial analysis experience.
- Product specialist/management expertise.
- Inventory management skills.
- Experience with SQL database.
- Website programming skills.
- Alternate language skills.
