About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Director, Nuclear Lead to spearhead our nuclear sector strategy for Canada. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth plan for our nuclear service offering in Canada.

As a key member of our Energy & Natural Resources (ENR) team, you will work closely with our Global Nuclear Lead to incorporate best practices and learning from other nuclear / power programmes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive growth plan for our nuclear service offering in Canada.
  • Lead the continued success and expansion of our nuclear service offering in Canada.
  • Own our nuclear sector strategy for Canada and work closely with our Global Nuclear Lead.
  • Form and execute a sustainable nuclear growth plan with responsibility for the delivery of annual sector budgets.
  • Be a voice in the Canada nuclear sector working closely with developers and industry to drive successful sector outcomes.
Requirements
  • Experience and credibility in the nuclear industry with existing relationships with both national and international clients.
  • Your track record will have seen you leading teams and providing advice on complex projects across the nuclear industry.
  • You will understand and be able to demonstrate to clients how Project Management, Commercial Management and Project Controls contribute to better outcomes throughout the strategy, set-up, and delivery of nuclear programs.
  • You will understand the commercial drivers of complex programme delivery, leading indicators of performance, and have experience driving change and managing risk.
About You

We are looking for a seasoned professional with:

  • A broad understanding of regulatory and permitting requirements and industry trends.
  • Extensive experience working in the nuclear sector, with a proven track record in successfully delivering major projects and programs.
  • Experience of working within both client and consultant environments an advantage.
  • Ability to serve in the capacity of a 'doer / leader' – someone who can deliver the service while building a team and the pipeline nationally.
