About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Contract Management Specialist to join our team at the Nuclear Waste Management Organization. In this critical role, you will play a key part in overseeing and implementing the organization's contract management strategy for nuclear waste projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on strategic contract development and management, ensuring compliance with best practices and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, manage, and close out large contracts (>$1 billion) for complex nuclear waste projects.
  • Develop and implement tactical solutions to drive commercial success and ensure effective project controls.
  • Liaise with Procurement and Legal teams to address contract administration needs and requirements.
  • Lead negotiations to resolve contractual disputes and maintain accurate records for all contracts.
Requirements:
  • A 4-year University education in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Construction/Project Management or related field; or an equivalent level of education.
  • Over 10 years of experience in contract management on mega-projects, developing contracting strategies, scope development, evaluation criteria, and project management and project controls requirements.
  • Excellent planning and contract management skills, with proven ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence others at all levels of the organization.
