Financial Transaction Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Financial Transaction Coordinator to join our Finance team at Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment. As a key member of the team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payment documents related to the Accounts Payable department.

Responsibilities- Perform data entry and related duties in disbursing non-payroll accounts payable to individuals, suppliers, corporations, and other entities.
- Maintain ledgers, credit balances, and account irregularities.
- Post and reconcile company payments to general ledgers.
- Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payment documents such as purchase orders, travel reimbursements, stipends, and any other accounting transactions related to A/P management.
- Review bills to the company for potential errors and/or discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or misapplied cash transactions; liaise with other departments to address.
- Review all credit balances, refunds, and adjustments, and apply adjustments and/or corrections to billing records.
- Formulate payment strategies to make timely A/P payments and mitigate supplier objections.
- Contribute to a healthy and safe workplace.
- A university, college diploma, or certificate completion in a related field.
- Basic knowledge of accounting systems, budgets, and internal controls.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheet programs and applications.
- An excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The company also offers an attractive benefits package, including comprehensive health and dental coverage, life insurance, and an Employee and Family Assistance Program.
