Tax Consultant Leader

MNP, a leading accounting and consulting firm, offers a Senior Accountant position in a dynamic Tax team. This role requires a trusted advisor to design solutions for clients that meet compliance and reporting requirements, minimize risk, drive efficiencies, and maximize returns.
Key Responsibilities:- Complete tax engagements by computing taxes owed, preparing personal and corporate tax returns, and reviewing share capital.
- Evaluate business processes and advise on policy and tax changes to develop proactive tax strategies.
- Correspond with clients and government agencies to address tax compliance issues.
- Prepare correspondence, technical reports, and client summaries outlining engagement findings.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting or finance major preferred).
- 2-4 years of relevant public accounting or tax experience.
- Working knowledge of the Canadian Income Tax Act.
- Experience working with accounting and tax software.
Compensation and Benefits:
In this senior role, you can expect a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on location and experience. Additionally, MNP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including group pension plan, flexible benefits, and professional development assistance.
