About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the Automotive Division. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strong relationships with customers, and implementing effective sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities- Work closely with the general manager and sales team to plan and implement sales development initiatives that drive business growth and revenue expansion.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including district managers and store owners, to promote NAPA marketing programs and increase sales.
- Recruit, develop, assess, train, and motivate a high-performing sales team to achieve sales objectives and exceed targets.
- Collaborate with corporate stores staff to ensure seamless execution of sales development initiatives and maximize market position.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest news, trends, and information in the automotive industry to inform sales strategies and recommendations.
- Analyze district sales results and produce regular performance reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM software, and other relevant technologies.
- Post-secondary education in business, commerce, marketing, or a related field (an asset).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
