About the Position
Job Description:The Alberta Pensions Services Corporation (APS) is seeking a seasoned executive to fill the role of Vice President, Pensions Services. Reporting directly to the President and CEO, this individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence across various departments, including Employer Services, Member Services Centre, Client Operations, Pensions Policy, and Actuarial. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in senior leadership roles, with a vision-oriented mindset and strong organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversight of departmental operations to ensure service level standards and business operations exceed established metrics and targets.
- Collaboration with internal stakeholders to develop and implement client strategies for member, employer, and pensioner services.
- Management of actuarial services and policy development, including collection and preparation of information on plan rule changes.
The successful candidate will possess:
- A Master's Degree with 5-10 years of experience in senior leadership roles or a Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in similar roles.
- Strong background in client operations, process optimization, and quality service delivery.
- Advanced knowledge of the pension industry and competitive climate.
